My Forthcoming (2026/27) Novel: Meals on Heels

 

 

In the charming coastal town of Seabreeze, retirement is supposed to mean quiet days and predictable routines, but for a group of four women ready for something more, this time of life brings an unexpected awakening.  

When they decide to shake off the dullness of everyday life, the four friends trade predictability for altruism, adventure, laughter, a touch of sleuthing, a smidgen of romance, and the kind of bold choices that remind them they are far from finished.  

The fifth member of the group, a presence that lingers beyond the shoreline and the sunlit streets, is unable to rest until the mystery surrounding her death is resolved. So she watches over her friends from the afterlife, providing (often snarky) commentary on all the goings-on.

As the friends rediscover themselves, old bonds deepen, secrets surface, a battle looms, and a second act takes shape in the most surprising ways.

Warm, witty and a little wistful, Meals on Heels is a story of friendship, reinvention, and the enduring ties that even death can't break.
